Starting in May and training until it gets cold and miserable in the fall.
Training happens Monday thru Friday and most Saturdays. Ultimately, the weather dictates when we train.
Once signed up with us you will be invited to join a chat group where we discuss what training will look like each week. Students are expected to make their best effort to attend training sessions. Even though it’s possible for you to catch up if you can’t attend a session, this does cause a gap in skill from students who regularly show up versus students who show up less often. Priority will be given to those who show up more often.
Equipment
We can provide the equipment for training and operate on a "you break it, you fix it" policy (We do require a damage deposit of $700). This will allow you to fly before you commit your hard earned money to something you have never done before.
If you have your own wing and motor, we encourage you to bring it. You can still fly our equipment but it is best that you become comfortable and familiar with your own equipment. Trust us, trying to fly strange equipment at home by yourself can be very frustrating!

Online Ground school
We are proud to partner with Hangaaar.com online ground school. After you are registered with us you will be invited to login to your online ground school. Ground school must be completed in order to write the Transport Canada ULTRA written exam. Pass mark for the ULTRA exam is 60%.
