It seems unfair that we can't run into the sky like a bird, but that has changed.
I will never forget that day I ran into the Florida sky and chased the sun until it set. I was immediately blown away by how freeing it was to fly a paramotor. There was no windshield, instrument panel, or nose of an aircraft to look over. There was nothing but me and the sky.
I have flown for many years but I have never felt this type of freedom before now. While flying a paramotor, I have flown in formation with sandhill cranes and touched clouds with my hands.
You too can experience this freedom at our flight school. Let us train you how to fly!
At FlyTheNorth we are just as passionate about teaching as we are about flying. We believe that the roll of the instructor is to act as a guide as you become a competent pilot. As you progress through the course, your skills will compound until you take that final step into the air for the first time.
Jason Kennedy dreamed of being a pilot since he was a little boy watching planes take off at his local airport.
He finally started his dream of flying in 2007 and has not stopped advancing his skills since that very first flight. Today, he is a commercial pilot and a full time flight instructor.
Jason is continually learning and expanding his training with "just one more" license or rating. His goal is to "master the craft" of whatever flight machine he puts his hands to learn. Whether it be a tailwheel, ski's, bushwheels, floats, multi engine aircraft or a paramotor, Jason is at home in the air.
